Our Work
The Hope Resource Center offers same-day access to comprehensive resources for individuals seeking help. These resources include; detox, drug and mental health treatment programs, sober living, counseling, weekly recovery support groups, and an on-site, daily, free clinic. We also provide hot meals, clothing, hygiene, and harm-reduction tools such as Naloxone.

The Hope Gathering, which meets every Wednesday at 6:30pm at Glenwood United Methodist Church, is targeted toward those in early recovery. The Hope Gathering is a recovery based, inclusive community that acts as a bridge between the streets and faith. We are a people who desire to work on our recovery while strengthening our relationship with our Higher Power. We work the Twelve Steps. All personal beliefs and values are welcome.

Hope for Today, which meets every Friday at 11AM, is targeted towards those in active addiction and provides an opportunity to step out of the street and into a safe and intellectually stimulating environment with peers. The goal is to enable critical thinking, and future-focused, as well as reflective conversations, that can plant seeds toward recovery.

The Women's Step Group, which meets every Saturday at 10AM, is targeted toward women who desire to study the 12-steps in a safe and supportive environment to share their experiences with addiction and recovery.

Second Chance, presented by Open Church, meets the 2nd Sunday of the month at Franklinton High School at 89 Avondale Ave in Columbus, 43222. This is a place for people who need a second chance and those ready to give church a second chance. Faith is not about perfection but about the ongoing journey of healing, growth, and being welcomed back, no matter one's past.

The ‘Foundations’ meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Monday at 6PM and is targeted towards anyone who has a desire to stop using drugs or alcohol. 'Foundations' is registered with AA Central Ohio Group Fellowship serving Central Ohio, AA Area 53 serving Central and Southeast Ohio and AA General Services Organization serving AA’s World Service.

The last Saturday of every month our entire recovery community comes together for a special event. Recent events include a talent show, halloween party, game night, movie night, cookouts and a Columbus Crew game. Open invitation for anyone on their recovery journey!

Following the Center for Disease Contriol's Social Determinants of Health, our HEROS program focuses on providing motivation, inspiration, accountability, and community support to people in creating their best life in recovery. Partnering with area agencies and organizations, the Hope Dealer Community links HEROS to programs that align with their self-determined goals for present and future success in recovery and in life.

The ‘Surrender to Survive’ meeting of Narcotics Anonymous will begin meeting every Friday at 7pm starting May 2 and is targeted towards anyone who has a desire to stop using drugs.l. ‘Surrender to Survive’ is registered with NA Central Ohio Area Narcotics Anonymous.
